Hey, I’m Austin. It’s great to meet you.

(My parents taught me to say that.)

I know you’re here for your organization, not to learn my life story, so I’ll make it quick:

I grew up in a town called Normal, IL. Right smack-dab in the middle of the state. After going to college in Chicago, I married my best friend, Larisa, in December 2017. We live in Peoria, IL now with our two dogs and three children, and our house could easily be mistaken for a zoo…

I’m a generalist. I’ve created content my entire life. When I was growing up, I always wrote stories and poetry, I recorded music, I managed a blog (which over 1,000 people would read during my high school years, thank you very much), I designed graphics and t-shirts, I photographed nature, and the list goes on. Today, I’ve expanded on that wide set of skills to apply them in an ever-changing world to help organizations get the attention of their audience and build a community around their brand.

Straight out of college, I managed marketing and operations for a national nonprofit called 95Network, an organization that supports small and mid-size churches in the U.S. I started out as the Director of Communications and got promoted to Managing Director after a year. There, I managed product launches, content development, our Healthy Steps Grant Initiative, the launch of 2 podcasts, a book release, and many many many more things. It was incredible experience.

I’m always thinking about what’s next. The reason I launched my content development business is for this exact reason. I love launching new products, new articles, new podcast episodes, new social media posts, etc. I’m always dreaming about what content opportunities haven’t been leveraged yet.

I’m a big fan of podcasts. Not only have I launched 3 of my own shows, I’ve also coached the growth of many others. I’m always listening to new podcasts to learn what’s out there, what’s connecting, and how to better my own tactics in my business. I believe podcasting is a huge opportunity for organizations right now.

I’m an advocate for high-quality coffee, craft beer, and peanut butter. This isn’t a professional tidbit, but the more you know, I suppose.

Let’s meet for (virtual) coffee and talk about getting content off your plate.

There’s no commitment, pressure, or obligation.
