IN THE “AGE OF AI,” HERE’S OUR COMMITMENT:

Preserving craft.
Always
human.

Our AI Policy

With the rapid growth of generative AI, it’s important that we clarify our point of view as an agency, and the commitments that we have to responsible usage of this technology. Since day one, human-to-human interactions have always been the core of who we are as an agency, and that is something we will always preserve. While AI can be useful for some aspects of our business, we commit to a company-wide recognition of the ethical, moral, and environmental considerations with how this technology is produced, managed, and regulated.

AI technology is always changing and we will review this policy and publish updates as needed.

As an agency, we will never utilize AI to generate content used for client work. This includes:

  • Copy for Articles, Website Pages, or Emails

  • Social Media Captions or Visuals

  • Video Creation

  • Podcast Content, Voice Replication, or Music

  • Image Creation

As an agency, we will utilize AI only for the following purposes:

  • Data Management and Analysis (i.e. populating performance data into relevant spreadsheets)

  • Record-Keeping (i.e. storing client brand/voice documents or meeting notes to reference information quickly; transcript creation)

  • Organization and Process Management (i.e. format transfers of existing content, automations, AI overviews of project status, etc.)

  • Website Troubleshooting and Coding Support (in some cases, our partner agencies deploy an AI agent to assist with diagnosing problems on client websites)

Does this impact client expectations?

Beginning in January 2027, all new contracts will include the following:

  • Outside of unique circumstances, we will no longer accept feedback on our work that is generated by an AI tool such as ChatGPT, Claude, etc.

  • We will not accept tasks that require the generation of content by using an AI tool.

  • We will not publish AI-generated content, of any type, that is provided to us by a client.
